Donation FAQs

A few people have messaged me regarding potential donations. I am honored to have created something that people think is worth giving money to. I do have plans to make donations possible through the site in the future, and would love to use the money towards making the website more professional and user-friendly and filing as a non-profit.

But if you’re looking to donate to help people struggling to deal with their periods in prison, please consider the Thurman Perry Foundation. They are the only organization I have found which works to get menstrual products to incarcerated individuals through their Girl Code program. They also provide scholarships to women and girls impacted by incarceration and housing payment relief to mothers.

If you’re interested in a fundraiser or donating to a specific prison, look up any women’s services group associated with the facility and get in touch with them directly. Donations of menstrual products usually require the permission of the facility, so it’s best to work with them from the start to avoid rejected donations.

Thank you!
